Amaryllis Polar Belle 30/32
The Amaryllis Polar Belle has large, double flowers with snow-white petals and slightly wavy edges. The white flowers sometimes get a hint of pink on their petals. This impressive and full flower blooms in the winter on sturdy, long stems and has fresh, green leaves. This amaryllis has an elegant and calm look, and is therefore perfect as a stylish addition to the home, especially during the holidays. Because these flowers bloom in the winter, they also make an excellent Christmas gift.
Amaryllis, also known as Hippeastrum, are elegant and long-lasting flowers that are easy to grow and care for. Plant the amaryllis bulb in well-draining potting soil mix, leaving the top of the bulb exposed. Use a pot with a hole in the bottom for drainage. Then place it in a bright spot at room temperature. Water the bulb sparingly until a green bud appears. Once this appears, the bulb needs more water. It takes about six to eight weeks for the Amaryllis Polar Belle to bloom.
