Amaryllis Akiko 30/32
The Amaryllis Akiko is a beautiful double-flowered amaryllis with bright white trumpet-shaped flowers, sometimes with a subtle pink stripe on the inner petals. Due to the full double flowers, this flower bulb is an exotic asset for the home and its white color gives it a timeless appearance. Due to the strong stem, the amaryllis is very suitable as a cut flower and also perfect as a Christmas gift.
Amaryllis, also known as Hippeastrum, are elegant and long-lasting flowers that are surprisingly easy to grow. Plant the amaryllis bulb in a well-draining potting soil mix, leaving the top of the bulb exposed. Use a pot with a hole in the bottom for drainage. Then place it in a bright spot at room temperature. Water the bulb sparingly until a green bud appears. Once this appears, the bulb needs more water. It takes about six to eight weeks for Amaryllis Akiko to bloom.
